Blending contemporary vision with heritage craftsmanship, ANW—known for its explorations in textile manipulation and contemporary designs with traditional undertones—partners with Setia Cap Cili to incorporate their distinctive floral shape into Balinese tenun ikat (handwoven textile) for the ‘Vanca’ collection.
Pushing the boundaries of traditional hand-weaving, Setia Cap Cili integrates new ikat (tying) innovations, bringing ANW’s iconic flower to life on an unprecedented, larger scale than conventional Balinese handwoven patterns.
In this collaboration, ANW and Setia Cap Cili further highlight an exploration of a mixture of two curated colors. This results in a unique duochromatic effect and refined tones.
